On Tabao chinese modders are making mechanical switches for the OP1e i have 80m TTC Dustproofs in mine. They are awesome.

Did you see the post on mouse review? Chinese modders installed milmax sockets on the PCB on OP1WE to make it compatible with mechanical 3 pin switches

I wish they offered the switch packs for the Xm2we. I don't even use the mouse because of how horribly heavy the clicks are. I imagine the internals aren't designed for that, otherwise they'd done so already.

I think that's a similar thing people did with superlight 2, where they had separate pcbs for sale that takes mechanical switches instead of optical

I had already mod mine. Wished the switches were clickier like the finalmouse switches. The skates are great I threw on the 100% ptfe.

They can take any kind of optical switch. But if you have mechanical switches like gm8.0 you’ll need an adapter.
