@jayy2949 I normally paint whatever subject matter inspires me at the time, and it can vary. Things that I have painted include, a blood moon in a night sky full of stars with two cliffs on the sides, a view of Mount Fuji with cherry blossom branches framing it, a painting of my family's Italian Greyhound sitting on her favorite pillows on the couch, and two portrait pieces of different comfort characters of mine. The next personal painting that I want to do is a painting of a black hole with a black to purple to red gradient along the arms on a circular canvas. Basically, I paint whatever inspires me at the time.

@@VeronicaStorm98 that's so cool I really appreciate hearing other people's passions when it comes to things like painting and drawing it's such a particular thing painting is especially with color because there's so many possibilities but I get often overwhelmed when deciding on subject matter and a specific style even if it's not a technical style , just what style I am going to use like warm colors and more abstract shapes to make the full picture or do I want to go for something more realistic with more blended colors or blocky or whatever it's like there's so many possibilities in my mind and so many topics and I get caught up in what I should do versus what I want to do.. like thinking that I should have a specific message and emotion to convey something that betters the viewer, something that makes them think, specifically about x, y, or z, versus what feels good to paint and what I think would look super-cool and is an interesting topic. I find the interesting and what I feel would be cool type painting is what I can spend the most time on in terms of dedication and really trying hard to get a quality result and then my means something kind of paintings or pieces of art I do more few and far between and very to the point with how I'm going to approached it and often it involves things of my culture and like being native specifically I'm working on a smaller canvas like pretty small but I sponged a water color type look into the background first as something to work off of that shows the Sun and its overall light with two hills and a valley in the background, not being not too far away from the viewers POV with two adult native women showing a younger child who is standing up actively trying and another younger child sitting watching showing them how to traditionally shawl dance, I decided to use fabric to glue onto the actual painted shawl for this one because it's small and I want an extra unique element and again because of the size the detail isn't super specific with the faces and it's more of like a general look at what that view or situation would be rather than seeing every line on the woman's face and the emotion in their eyes ect, I would need a bigger canvas to get those kind of details so it's just a peek into a everyday situation but one that is not common for a lot of people in North America anymore now that it's 2023 but still a very normal situation for me and mine so there's like a generalness I was going for a rather than specific persons type look, if that makes sense. I was looking at wallpapers on the app Zedge because I got a new phone but then I got into it because there's CGI created images that are general enough for me to take and twist as my own but use as kind of like a platelet or jumping off point and I save them into a little file on there because I can't figure out how to save it to my phones home screen LOL, but I'm really surprised at how helpful that was for me to go through different general categories and then flipped through what that contributor also added to said categories it all started as like silly fruit and vegetables with eyes and derpy lil faces because I like to save as contact pictures little things like that rather than pictures of the actual people I can't figure out how to freaking save it to any contact but that's besides the point but like every person that uploaded a photo or drawing or whatever again these winds are definitely CGI so they specifically don't have a copyright I checked there's no artist is that could take real credit I think it's just like a mishmash of things and then an AI does stuff but I could be off on that I'm not good with computers but I definitely want to go with a few of those topics like natural elements blending into faces or animals or Urban scenes and also there was a few camping scenes that really played with warm and cool color tones that I think I could take in a different direction and a little bit of like Jack skellington as the scream with his own type of background that really slaps and that led me to find and kind of abstract rundown scary houses that wouldn't in theory be that hard to reproduce in my own way but it's just like the ambiance and that feeling and it gives off it's kind of that like fun creepy kind of thing like The nightmare before Christmas movie itself and Coraline,

Another well read story! Random thought, from when I heard "...moment of un-reality..." I'm wondering what's more unsettling, "un-reality" if something was off in a super natural way, or when it's just off in the ways that reality is in the awful mundane. Sometimes I feel like I will wake up and find this reality was a dream or illusion or a trick, or reality will suddenly give to a great change. Perhaps it's the minds way of dealing with so many things out of it's control.

When I was going through a lot of trauma as a child especially in my early teen years I would disassociate it was looked at as a psychiatric problem then but we know now in psychiatry that it is actually a wonderful coping mechanism when we feel out of control of a situation whether it be an active trauma or a period of life that feels out of control. I envisioned a regular family that I was part of and regular everyday situations and would have moments such as waking up or not being able to sleep and then sitting up after a while and I thought that this reality might be just a dream and later after spending a couple years majoring in graphic design before I realized I hate computers I switch to psychology to become a therapist without the medical side of the degree but with the knowledge I do not want to prescribe medicine but be able to recommend it and I minored in foster care reform because I wanted at-risk kids and foster kids to be my main clients and I learned this kind of dissociation can mainly come from a lack of serotonin in the brain and what is called reuptake inhibitors which just means the little bits that absorb the serotonin which if you were a child and even a huge trauma did not happen like sexual assault but if you even so much as heard domestic violence between your parents even say once or twice a year or at all or one of your parents never had anything good to say about you during your developmental years from birth to five errand from 8 to 12 years old and also as the teenagers begin with full-on puberty this is when the brain is forming crucial things that will depend on who you will be and who you will never be able to be within the first 5 years it's about your place in the world and if the world is a scary place or a place where you have a place then is pre puberty we're cutting comes in negative self-talk then in full on puberty eating disorders sexual promiscuity feeling like the total outcast because of a bully or social awkwardness then you're later teenage years we're apparently 16 is a grown adult especially in terms of sexuality an actual adult eyes and what is expected from you even the constant what I consider white American or white Western rhetoric of apparent towing the child they get three meals a day and a warm bed and a roof over their head and all they have to do is go to school and how lucky they are and how inconsiderate they are for x y and z all while ignoring the fact that you must provide those exact things in order to keep custody of that child so when you have feelings of every child and dad is at work to get the best cars in the bigger house and Mom is ragged from giving up her youth for children and having things that demand so much from her all the child's problems seem like nothing because of course the child didn't save the marriage and the child is so embarrassing for not living up to expectations or older siblings or for being socially awkward or overweight or heaven forbid there's a mental illness already parents in the Western world seem to forget that making and having a child is not an obligation or a burden it is a gift and an absolute mission that they were lucky enough to be designated. In my culture, the wife can get an instant divorce and we are a matriarchal society so the woman keeps everything if the father does not provide spiritual leadership and teachings and to raise a hand to a child or to the wife is to admit you lack everything that makes you a man and the woman denying the husband peace and acting as if the children are a burden and raising a hand to them is a blemish on the entire community and it is better if no womb was ever inside of her. This is something that is exile Worthy which is a fate worse than death. And even the Diné people kume strike their child with the blade of one certain plant must plant this and have it growing over a mile from they're home because on the walk to obtain the plant leaf the anger will have gone and the need to strike with the creator has given you with a violent Act and not to teach the child sensibly on the child's level all that anger has left, and I am not saying that my culture is better than anyone else culture but I am saying that the Western culture that is of Canada and America and Britain meaning England has fallen from its roots and become a culture that is truly not one by definition, we saw the scans of children's brains that went through any of these traumas and not one of us could pick the pows from the Vietnam wars brainscan out as being different from any of the children's. The post-traumatic stress disorder is the same. And so serotonin is not created in the brian on the same level as a child who has not experienced this so even if you're not depressed an antidepressant that is an SSRI can be very very beneficial and many regular doctors try to prescribe antidepressants because they do have the legal power to but they do not have the ethical right to completely especially for The Young and the traumatized because of psychiatrist is necessary a psychiatrist has medical background of a doctor and the psychology training of a psychologist but a psychologist cannot prescribe medicine as they lack the medical doctorate, a therapist not a counselor but a therapist generally if they're worth their weight in salt has the same training as a psychologist enough to work with a doctor to make recommendations and to know the various forms of counseling such as talk as well as cognitive and EMDR which is a very revolutionary treatment even dialect centered therapy exposure therapy I would never recommend hypnosis though nobody with an honest degree would there's just too much of a probability event planting false memories it is extremely easy I took criminal justice classes especially centered around interviewing an interrogation with the reid method and anyone else that has can really screw someone over and this is happened with satanic panic in earlier decades even though I don't know if they were knowledgeable in the Reid technique that that technique gets false confessions from youth and the intellectually disabled on such high rates it is crazy and you really learn all the lies American police can tell you legally and if you're ever in a criminal situation whether you're guilty or not lawyer up immediately if you have been arrested and are detained in their custody and if you have not been read your Miranda Rights you are not in their custody and you are free to go at anytime you do not have to ask. And if you are under 18 in America request your parent or guardian and your lawyer regardless of innocence. But that's a whole nother topic. Basically what I'm saying is try pristiq it only comes in 50 & 100 mgs, another doctors don't know about it because it is new but it has the least amount of unwanted side effects and can vibe with almost any other psychiatric or medical prescription. If you have any questions feel free to hit me back but please don't get lost in feeling that this is not reality because I've been there and this is reality I'm here to point-blank tell you

@@jayy2949 ah good ol CPTSD featuring dissociation. While dissociation is a coping mechanism I'd hardly say it's wonderful, when it's persistent it can destroy a person's life and any sense of stability. On the topic of meds you may find it interesting to look up the relationship between many psychiatric meds and CYP2D6 mutation as well as a few others included in most CYP450 panels. That cyp2d6 mutation runs in my family and is likely part of why my mother and I have failed every ssri and snri thrown at us. Thankfully MAOIs are very effective for her and I. The MAOI class of meds has been subject to a lot of fear mongering and but for many of us with treatment resistant depression cormorbid to CPTSD and other conditions MAOIs are lifesavers and at least in my case it plays surprisingly well with my all other meds. Thanks again to both author and our dear narrator for such masterful story telling. These longer tales are perfect for entertaining me through my treatments every day. A joyful reminder that while there's darkness around the corner, we're walking this path together and that fortifies us to keep going.

I listen to a few of your types of KZbinrs and I got to say I was surprised CreepsMcPasta has a little over 2 million subscribers, don't get me wrong I like his story telling. He's one of my favorites but I don't understand why you don't have that many or more. You're my favorite and in my opinion a better story teller. Anyway keep up the good work and I hope you get everything you deserve for all the smiles you bring us and even the nightmares you bring us too because I cherish them also. Like mini movies in my head, the stories help my own imagination. So I appreciate what you do.

*LH* - You continue to outdo yourself with each story added. I really loved this story as the author has a wonderful grasp of language and vocabulary and the written narrative is excellent. As always, your narrations make it easy to enjoy the stories while I go about my daily tasks or am settling into bed before going to sleep. Thank you for all your efforts and time... blessed be.

Your stories, your voice, your narrations just calm me so much that I don’t fear being stuck here in the hospital awaiting bad news, or good news, it’s usually bad news. But without you, I wouldn’t be able to handle this. So thank you so much. Your long narrations truly are the best, but i love every single one.

I paint as a hobby and did one of a black cat sitting upright. It was weird, but no matter where you were in the house, if you could see that painting, that cat was staring at you! It got so bad my mother finally took it out as it creeped her out so much.

I think the difference between lighthouse and other narrator's is that it doesn't feel like a narration. It feels like a first person account of what someone genuinely went through. While others can set the mood with their voice lighthouse sets the emotion as well as if he actually went through it. That's why the stories are a cut above the rest. Kudos. If i can ask one thing though. Id like to know the sex of the main character at the beginning because many times i visualize the entire story a a certain sex only to be halfway in a hear some call main character ma'am or something lol throws me off 😂😂.
