Chris you might have to continue the ditch up further to get that upper area to dry. there has to be a hard pan of clay 5 tor 6 feet under the area that's not letting it drain. long term it might need drain tie down to the pond to stay workable... looking good for the mess your dealling with..

Chris I've been following you for years. I know you only have one way to work. The Chris Way is you treat every slice of land as if it were yours. You stump so you won't hit anything and harm your equipment. You rake to make it clean. You stack and burn and restack and burn so you don't have much to haul off or bury. Every land owner should be so glad to hire you. Efficient to the max and mild mannered. Plus I get aerials. See you next week.

Question... So towards the beginning of the video Chris was worried about the amout of dirt left in the stomps. I was under the impression that the dirt would hangout with the stomp till it was burned to ash and then just fall. I get that dirt can smuther a fire. But the implacation seemed to be about the dirt pulling a Keyser Soze and be gone, or burnup and disappear. Is that a thing? I didn't think dirt would burnup. If anything I'd think the "fire dirt" ( which sounds super metal btw) would be full of nutrients to grow weed... Or hay if you will.
