Lighting LEDs with Makey Makey

Thanks, I did the circuit twice with leds and twice with a motor. They are both not damaged and the Maket Makey senses that I pressed the earth and the click playdoh. How can I fix it?

Is it possible to create a circuit that could light up a firework with the press of a key?

Ooow, good question. I don't know that the Makey Makey would have enough voltage (5v, standard USB) but maybe if you rigged it up with a match like this? www.instructables.com/id/Fireworks-Igniter/

It might! Something to experiment with, I guess. I suspect it will work if the clay is wet.

Liam Nilsen so I wanted to let you know that I used this strategy for a kids art camp activity I was teaching, but I had them use gummy worms to light the LEDs! So thank you a BUNCH for making this video!!
