For anyone running the Headhunter setup for pure map blasting use Rotgut as your quicksilver. It's literally free Onslaught since you're constantly at maximum frenzy charges from Disciple of the Slaughter on the tree. "Removing the charges" does not affect you because of Ralakesh. It's basically quicksilver and silver flask for the price of 1 to free up an extra slot to use whatever you want. The 50% chance to gain charges on crit from Rotgut also synergizes perfectly since we are a crit build :D

I don't think there should be any issues with paying in-game currency for build help, though. That being said, it apparently is frowned upon, at least by select reddit users, who thought my post offering in-game currency tips for build advice was RMT (which I still don't understand, but oh well). These are great ideas. We get requests for POB reviews... sometimes people even hunt down our -business- email and send requests there (hint: don't do that, we will say no). Requests for a Discord are also popular. However, we're only a team of 2 people running 2 channels: Llarold & Sunset. We handle all video editing, script-writing, footage, thumbnails (yes we know they need work), and community tasks ourselves. We love making content and interacting with the community, but we're still not sure how we would squeeze either of those extra things into our content creation process while still working RL jobs. Neither channel is at the point where we feel comfortable outsourcing any of the work. You've all given us something to think about, though.

@@PathofEvening one of the upsides of starting a discord community is that it can take the pressure off you as a content creator a bit. Seen this a lot in other PoE-creators communities where they get a lot of help with the heavy lifting of answering the same questions over and over by just having more experienced people around. Things like helping with PoBs become much easier. And that’s without actually crowdsourcing anything per se. I was actually surprised to see you’re one of the few who create content at the level you do who don’t have a discord or similar.

I'm running detonate dead of chain reaction, flame wall, and innervate support on my Svalinn. I've got close to 100% uptime on innervate, as detonate dead is killing shocked enemies regularly thanks to my skitterbots. Huge dps increase when innervate is active and anything that clears enemy corpses is fantastic. I swap innervate support out for Frost Bomb when bossing or running rogue exiles, as 75% reduced life regen is massive (and cold exposure also gives a nice little dps increase)

Ok so I have been trying this set up today and I cant lie its great. Able to use max Gem level Innervate as it requires less Int than Sigil of power. Its also like you said, up nearly 100% of the time while mapping. On top of this it is more reiable added damage than Sigil due to it being a buff on you rather than an aoe buff. Obviously you lose the less damage debuff on enemies but it doesnt seem to have been a problem at all. Also anything that expoodes corpses is just a great QOL.

@@basewarrior Oh, also forgot to add (bit wordy): If you can afford it, pick up a Runebinder Impossible Escape. That lets you allocate Sovereignty so drop the Charisma anoint from your amulet AND pick up Safeguard to get your effective spell block up to 90%. This also lets you anoint As the Mountain instead, giving you 90% effective attack block too. This gives you a stupendous +12% on both attack and spell block, which lets you drop the shield mastery for 1% attack block per 5% block chance on shield. That also let me drop Mark The Prey for the Claws of the Magpie node, which works better for me overall and keeps me overcapped on chaos resistance from The Light of Meaning. Hope some of this is helpful too!

Just beat the maven for the 1st time, (1st league). This is a good guide and build. I tried retaliation gladiator 1st from Goratha but waiting to get hit to retal was tough with bosses so I swapped to this. Couple notes. Lethal pride seems to work different than in the past. I watched old videos. None of my keystones were replaced just enhanced. The strength gained from passive nodes helped a lot. Mana, chaos res, and elemental ailment avoidance are the toughest part of this build. Once you get them worked out then the tankyness kicks in. I went with ancestral vision and as much spell suppression as I could get. I used the recombinator to roll t1 stats with orbs of alteration then smashed them together, followed by mod blocking with 3 mods can be applied multi mod crafts. Even though spell suppression is capped at 100% if you go above that you still get elemental avoidance at 50% from ancestral vision. Once I hit 100% elemental avoidance, and capped chaos res the build felt much better. even at 96% ele avoidance I was dying a lot. Chaos res is tough early on because you have so few pieces to get mods for it on. I used an 8 div light of meaning that gives 4% chaos res per passive node to deal with it. I think it's better to focus on getting your defenses in order then scaling damage early on. I was sitting at 20 million dps when I beat the Maven. Dealing with int and strength shortages can temporarily be dealt with from inertia and fertile mind gems. Thanks for the build.

Hey tips on doing Citadel boss (from someone who spent all league in this map) 1) When he says "No Scape" make circles close to the boss (Its really easy to dodge the skill because math stuff I can't explain in english) 2) Delirium orbs makes the boss a LOT easier because they get stuck in Deli animation when they spawn 3) When the bean animation start, aim your Whirling blades pointing to the wall (arena portal or mirror) it will prevent you from dashing into the beam (because whirling blades has fixed dash distance 4) When the first boss moves his hand from bottom to top and doesn't say anything, it's because he's casting the skill that will follow you and create a circle of hands on the ground when it touches you (I normally stop attacking and go close to te mirror untill it reaches me)

FYI pure evasion helms can have Int as a suffix, so you could have shifted a res or suppress from your helmet onto pure EV gloves. Then you'd have pure EV helm and gloves.

This works for Dex on gloves. Can show up on STR/INT bases, and has a higher tier. Belts are where you get this for Strength.

Imo a chaos res light of meaning is a better option. 1 jewel and you are hardcapped Been running any t17 mod hyper juiced without any issue, you dont need to look for any regex with this build tbh Even dull ghost glacier farm is chill, and no, you dont need neither leech mastery or its nodes. Ruining a progenesis and being a slayer the 3 points to leech mastery are wasted, you will only die by one shots, so they are pointless, and mana is fine without it

Ok so I used to be one of those Lazy players and just bought all my gear, this league I really wanted to learn to Craft a bit. Just Crafted this Helmet on A Grizzly Pelt base so second best Dex base and I cant believe how easy it was. Though I did get very very lucky and didnt even need to go to the Eldritch Chaos step as I hit T2 Life and T3 Increased Evasion none Hybrid while also hitting 35% Chaos res with a T1 max roll LIghtning res (48%). Im assuming this was just very lucky and I should have been ready to pop a few Eldritch chaos at it for 50 chaos a go but hey that felt great. To buy a similer Helm its well over 20 Divines and this cost me about 5, 4D Base and about 1D of Essence. Thank you bro, you are the best, Love from the UK TLDR: I love crafting now

I'm pretty sure int can roll on ANY helmet base; so you don't technically need the hybrid gloves you could go full EV on everything if you made the helmet T1 int fractured instead (it even gives a higher int value as well, 60 max rather than 55). Having said that pretty sure the tiny amount of extra defence is REALLY not worth that extra crafting effort haha.

No leech map mod surprisingly isn't as bad as it seems since the claw gives 46 life gain on hit and the small node by instant leech also gives +4. 50 life on hit is pretty good sustain when you're hitting insanely fast especially when vaal LS is active. I didn't run no leech mods for a while and then started and didn't really notice a huge change. It can be slightly more rippy on bosses but when you're 1 shotting almost everything in the map apart from T17 bosses with tank mods it's not so bad. Give it a go!

I was wondering, is it beneficial to stack both block chance and evasion? My idea is, if you get high enough block, then you wouldn't need to evade that much and it would be better to have armour instead for those hits that pass through. In the other case, if you have high evasion, then you don't block that often and you don't get your "on block effects" which are also your socketed gems in the shield.

The thing about armour is that it's only useful if you have a lot, and you can't really get enough to make it worth the investment without heavily altering this build. Evasion is fine even at a lower value, and it is another line of defense that comes into play after block.

​@@PathofEvening I just noticed another thing looking at your PoB. This IS a massive nitpick, but you have selected 'Melee hit' instead of 'Projectiles' on your skill. Technically it's both, so if one wanted to be perfectly rigurous, they would put a clone of the skill, with one of each, but I just wanted to point out that the melee part of the skill does not take into account many things that go into the projectile damage, most notably I think, passing through the flame wall. You are missing about 4m damage from that alone (but again, its probably more like both at the same time if you stand next to an enemy, even more if more projectiles hit them. Some other things I noticed, you probably did it on purpose but I just wanted to make sure: you did not put 'Fortified' in your config. Additionally, I would highly, highly suggest you test out Lethal Prides from the trade site in your PoB, since I believe you are leaving a TON of damage on the table by not getting one that has 'Gain 1 Rage on Melee Hit' on a notable that you are using. It is pretty RNG, but it can be found relatively easy, and if bossing, you have a lot of time to stack it up. Btw I do not want to sound critical in any way, I just grown so attached to this build that I got a bit obsessed with optimizations :D, and I want to see the best it can do. I love your content, and I think your original vid of LS Slayer is the one that finally broke my leagues long obsession with just going Necro every time!

15:23 Messed me up. Because I crafted Chance to block Spell Damage, it never game that as an option on veiled. Neither did it give me an option for "ailments xxxxx". I think a diff craft would have been a better choice , thus giving you an option to pick one of the two, not just 1.. Unless I missed something?

Chance to block spell damage as an unveil would put you over the cap, and crafting Ailment Avoidance won't work, so not really. It HAS to be the one way. If you're unlucky, try again.

If you're not freeze/stun immune, you should absolutely stick with Brine King Pantheon until you can get both of those some other way to prevent those kind of deaths.

Hi, I have so much fun playing this build. 1.I wonder if it's better to get suppress chance to Suppress Spell Damage in Ralakesh's boots, you free slot in helmet(but would need to spam tattoos to cap 100% suppresion), There are still good options for Ralakesh's boots, +2 level to Aura Gems, regenerate 100 life per second(that can help with uber bosses during phases when they are immune to damage and you cannot leach). 2.Isn't map mod "Players have -#% to amount of Suppressed Spell Damage Prevented" negative for this build? 3.How much damage give you swtiching Taming and gem returning projectiles to Nimis and inspiration, I am reading that it should be 2-3x more damage, is it true? 4.I never crafter anything serious, how much money it take to craft body armour, I am reading in comment that someone already spend 100div and he didn't get expected result.....

1) Suppress is possible as a boots implicit, but it will cost quite a lot. Dropping Ralakesh for anything less than mirror-tier boots is pretty inadvisable. 2) Up to you. 3) Nimis is better. 4) Can't tell you what RNG is going to cost.

i tried crafting a similar body armour, got my t1 spell suppress fracture and then got the suffixes, now ive gone 4 veiled orbs and i cant unveil the ailment avoid mod lol, this has cost me over 100div so far and who knows how much more it will cost to finish. but once done, it will be well worth it. Also im trying to get evasion rating on my body armour instead of life so its like half the chances of life mod and im being unlucky so its painful. i tried doing it with beast crafting using wild bristle matron to lock suffixes and then reforging defence but idk if it would be cheaper with eldritch chaos. Also im standing at 200div so im not sure if i should buy nimis or awakened multistrike first. im just dont know how much more damage i will be getting

I've played LS way way too much, and every build guide this league seems to be x defensive layer on top of lightning strike.

I mean.. for this league in particular.. its absolutely the best cos GGG buffed melee to the high heavens and nuttily, LS is still a range skill in all practical sense of actual combat (and even added Sione's Ambition to make it more rangey) so it literally really took the whole cake and ate it completely without even one crumb left. And then with the buff to Slayer for the defensive buff to endurances charges and its just a match made in heaven for this league, both offensively and defensively.

Pretty much exactly it. Slayer is insane, LS is insane, and together they are double-insane. There is legitimately no downside to the build. You can't even complain about budget, it was fully league start viable.

Is there a way to deal with accuracy debuffs(map mod)? I've seen claws with hits cant be evaded and i notice that your claw doesn't have that.

Hits Cannot Be Evaded loses a damage mod, which is massive, and not worth it. For Less Accuracy maps, you just deal with them or run others.

I have been playing the build since the original video, its the build of the league for me. it has everything I was looking for fast, good damage, good defence. Here is some tips I have and I went a different route for some items. 1. I did not go for all spell suppression on any of the rare gear, just one piece since I found a suppress fracture still sitting around 60%. POB - 84%suppression 2. did not go for aliment immunity since I never found it to be a problem just running with brine king. 3. as for what I went for was just chaos resist on every piece so I would be 60+ chaos resist and over cap with progensis. 4. for the watcher eye, I went for anger crit multi and vitality life gain on hit, with so many hit as long as ur hitting something you should be fine. 5. for the timeless jewel, intimidate on hit, rage on hit, dd. or endurance on kill if you want to run with arn's 6. since I did not go for aliement immunity I got jewel socket open just went for as much damage as possible each jewel should give around 8-9% damage which is 1m+ each jewel. 7. don't have a mageblood just running with HH and I think its more fun since the buffs works well and make you zoom through maps. 8. I don't use a quicksilver and just running silver flask since with so much attack speed I spam whirling blades. - as for the open flask Im running oriath's end for even better clear. with these I have only died once from 80-97 currently, gonna try to farm more and push for lv 100. In actual combat, not needing to build up the charges is invaluable and more often than not, determines ur real actual defense (endurance charges) and offense (frenzy and power) esp. when ur charges drops off against bosses and u find it hard to build up the charges before getting 1-shot etc.

@@JustADudeGamer well.. even for non-slayers that does not have masterful form or non-duelists that cant use forbidden jewels of the same ascendancy, its actually very appealing still, to have 100% uptime for the bare minimum of 3 endurance, 3 power and 3 frenzy charges (esp. with the huge defensive buff this league for endurance), even though most builds who will actually use ralakesh will almost certainly stack some extra max charges of some sort to optimize its value as much as possible.

27:44 Not taking the instant leech is not nearly as bad as you are saying. Thrill of battle gives mana on hit, and we have life on hit from the claw. So 100% reduced recovery rate is possible even without instant leech. The other point about the tankiness is debatable, because 10% of leech that's very little. As slayer we are capped at leeching 20% of our max life, 10% of that is 2% of our max life is instantly leeched. That is basically equivalent to something like 70 lgoh. It won't really save you from dying like full instant leech would, sometimes it might let you attack through a degen where without it you'd have to move, like shaper beam you mentioned, but that's about it. Could be worth 4 points to you, but idk calling people dumb for not taking it might be a bit much.

Well, awakened multi proj gem + nimis + mageblood are 600 div combined. But yeah, LS is very strong with any budget. Thats why you 1) can league start it and 2) so many people play it.

@@Raynhardx if you are willing to play a non mb version of this specificaly i think you can absolutely make it work fine for anything but the most insane of endgame mods. Different versions of LS Slayer will get you more bang for your buck up until you get to around the mb+a mirror point. What is sort of limiting (and i use that term very loosely in a category of builds with upwards of 100million of dps on uber pinnacle type targets) most other versions is the defensive side of things. Warning: I am going on a tangent and solely of subjective impression useing what I play as an example. My version (Doryani+Mahuxotl) ramps its damage up super fast, needs only a single element type of claw, needs no or next to no penetration, no balancing you elements for trinity, can click as many -cold/lightning res altars as you can find and has a SIGNIFICANTLY higher max phys/ele/chaos hit cap. It's beyond great, absolutely smashed my expectations. HOWEVER! While all of those numbers are rather impressive in PoB and as KPIs, in practice thats only ever gonna matter on an unblockable one-hit type of attack like a Shaper/Elder slam. Thats rather specific and not really as universally useful as having reliable block. Although my effective HP value is on par, my survivability in T17s is not the equal of this version. What usually happens is that due to the high scaling of mods on very juiced T16s and T17s enemy abilities with multiple projectiles or areas start overlapping, effectively "shotgunning" you. Thats why Gladiator and Svalinn with their lucky block is so popular right now. Sorry for the tangent I went on there but I thought it would be good to give you a non-theoretical alternative version and showcase why this version ultimately comes ahead. I found a foil progenisis map right before bed one night, listed it for what I thought was 65 divines (ps5). The next day I got several offers when I logged on, for 55, 60, and then 65. I accepted. Come to find out, I listed it for 65 exalts and hadn't noticed until after I accepted the trade. This alone killed the season for me. I've never found that many divines in a season (I don't get to play too often). Still salty about it.

That's too bad, but you can easily make 65 divines just by doing a decent farm strat for 6 hours. If you're slow like me, then maybe 9 hours. You can also farm up 65 divines passively pretty quickly by just keeping your ships and mappers stocked with gold (which you can do in 1-2 hours per day with a decent gold strat). I'd be really disappointed by that too, so I get it, but you should consider giving this league another chance. There's never been a league (that I've played, though I've missed quite a few) that's been easier to make currency without investing a lot of time thanks to Kingsmarch. 65 divines might seem like a lot but if you level up your currency farming game, you can ultimately save up 100s of divines in a week or two of casual play.

I think nimis is actaully damage loss to taming. 1st the projectiles returning doesnt pierce and they fire randomly. against bosses misfired projectiles are all damage loss and not piercing projectiles are also damage loss(while farming) With the old version i could run any maps, even ran 100% deli less block,no leech vaal temple deathless, killed kosis too. Was thinking of nimis but dropped the idea for too much randomness.

Does it worth to have a 230D ring instead of an 1D that gives more consistent damage?Your choise but i would say no 2nd why inspiration when it's already at max crit and mana is not an issue. awa lightning or cold damage gives around 40% more dps or does it ruin trinity in one way? Armor is a good upgrade to max suppress, i wouldnt change stormshroud setup to another fancy unique jewel tho, also makes the armor craft more expensive and luck based.

You can actually run monsters cannot be leeched from or at least i can, i have gemini claw, so it has flat hp and mana on hit too that doesnt consider as leech, so you get the instant life/mana back from it just dont overleech. With a flat hp claw it doesnt work tho i guess the flat 2 mana from tree is not enough

The real appeal for playing a two-handed sword version is using leap slam tbh. Cos dmg-wise, like what the guy has mentioned in his clip, its frankly kinda pointless cos he is already annihilating everything in the game, even if the 2-handed sword version is providing more top-end burst dmg in endgame with the rune enchant. Also, not using shield meant losing quite a lot of defense as other than life/res/suppression rolls etc, just simply the chance to block alone (without even any investment on tree) is quite a significant defensive layer in itself. And lastly but no less important, the 2-handed sword version is also missing 2 projectiles from double fan of blade clusters so the clear is actually worse than claw + shield or the 12-linked setup with mirrored dagger and squire (which actually has more dps than even 2-handed sword but will require a lot of flat ele dmg jewels to compensate for the loss of flat ele dmg on wep) Tho all in all, both builds are great cos LS Slayer is just an amazing build this league so nothing can really go wrong with either, and this is all just nit-picking in essence really.
