This song got me through the lonely start of my relationship with my husband when he was stationed in Washington state and I saw him 3 times in a year. Now he's in DC and I see him every weekend but those weekends he can't make it, this song resonates with me. Being a military wife is hard as hell and I don't even have it bad.

a very beautiful woman gave this song to me when we were both kids. it was a part of numerous songs she would always send on a whim whenever she thought of me. it's been years since we last spoke but I just put together a playlist of all of the songs she sent and this one popped up. I feel like I never listened to it back when she first sent it. but damn, does her presence appear again for finally hearing it. I feel that same deep passion for her that I felt back then. I wish I cherished us better back then. I miss you Melissa. Hope you're well and happy.

So I discovered her due to Phora's song "Before It's Over part 1 & 2" The sample starts at the beginning, the long ringing thing: 0:00 to 0:30 And then when she goes ooooooooh at 1:29 - 1:41 and again with that long ringing part That shit gives me me the feels like damn. I gotta say, this a great song I didn't think I was gonna like it but it's awesome And knowing that my current favorite rapper Phora sampled this in his song "Before It's Over (Thank You" & "Before It's Over" Pt.2" When she sang the hook like two times, I got the feels too That hook sounds familiar but I don't know 🤔 I love everything in this song, and she's a good singer. I'm not sure if I'm gonna check out her rest of her albums but I know who is she now. And she's beautiful aswell. Anyways, that's all I gotta say. Peace ✌🏼

Same thoughts!!! Makes me think of a women who is married to a soldier who has gone away to war. The drums remind me of marching too. The synth riff that plays from 2:43 has some Terminator vibes for me so maybe that's why it reminds me of war.

Just listened to it and yes the melody is almost an exact clone. Yet this record remains overshadowed which makes me so sad. I’ll do my best to get people on Siberia. Yes she’s made new music since but it rubs me the wrong way how critics received Siberia when it came out. This whole album was decades ahead of its time
