It’s funny how they’re still calling him ‘Light’. Light died at the very first episode, the second he took the death note, ‘Light’ died, but Kira was born. Kira and Light are two different people, Light was an innocent kid about to make it in this cruel world. However, Kira was a cold blooded murderer consumed by the death note’s powers. He may be equal to a god of death, but Light was always dead, since the very first Episode, and since he found the death note. Kira was never going to win his ‘game’ of god, the antagonists never win. The villains always lose.

why am i just relising the Misa died in, not Light YAGAMI'S arms, but in the sun's light. if she had specified in the notebook saying she wanted to die in Light Yagami's arms, she would have done so, but she didn't. i feel like she wanted to off her self whichever way from quite a few episodes b4 the last, so that's why she didn't seem too fazed when she was standing on the edge of the building. but thats just a theory, I haven't done my research so don't yell at me if im wrong.
