I had been curious about lights lacquer but hadn't actually tried them until I picked up a couple shades at TJ Maxx a month or so ago. I was really impressed with the formula and although this particular collection doesn't really speak to me, I'm definitely going to check out more of their polishes soon!

As someone who is a big fan of this brand I’m shocked you were able to find them at TJ maxx 😮 I feel like they are AMAZING but for some odd reason they aren’t very loved in the nail polish community. I’ll be in the lookout for them net time I go to this store though 🎉

@@isamb777 I had never seen them there before! I was kind of shocked myself to find them! I picked up two mattes and two shimmers and they had a couple other colors there too. They were really pretty! I did have to dig though. They were nestled in amongst the OPI and since the bottle is shorter they were pretty hidden.

I haven't heard of this brand and I'm so glad for this review. I don't know if I'm just in a sparkle mood, but I gasped at the manicure featuring City of Stars. The nude base with that glitter just spoke to my soul. I looooove it. Thank you for this video, Kyle. I am going to keep this brand in mind for a future purchase. ❤️

The colour story of the after hour trio wasn't really speaking to me because it was more subdued than I prefer. But the polishes would be great for a new year's celebration! To the nines and whiskey neat from the cocktail hour collection were my faves from this video

For sure, they're pretty muted. But really nice in terms of matching with an outfit or having something subtle (but beautiful) for New Year's! I like those ones a lot too, the shimmers are so nice.

I've recently found Lights Lacquer, and have learned to really love their brush and the formula...goes on so nicely! I did grab the Close the Tab Duo, To the Nines and Whiskey Neat. Did an awesome Christmas tree Mani with To the Nines as my base. Love this stuff! More swatching, please!

This is my first time watching a Lights Lacquer review and my first thought is “I love the formula!” so I went to their site. I don’t like the fact that they barely have any photos of the polish worn and don’t even supplement with review photos or tagged IG photos, and that’s usually a deal breaker for me. But that $11 price tag has me pleasantly surprised. I usually head to Essie at the drug store for my cremes but I think LL formula might be worth the shipping cost. Unfortunately every single polish I like is sold out 🤯😂 I’ll keep an eye out for new release reviews like this, so maybe in the future.

They usually restock in a month or so. They're just sold out because they've been having some sale or another nonstop since November and they honestly usually don't have sales (the polishes were between $3.50 & 7 and I must admit I bought way more than I should have).

There is a Poparazzi color (CVS brand) that kinda reminds me of the metallic green. That one gets lots of compliments when I wear it. I might have to grab this one too - it’s not a common color/finish combo.

I was a big fan of lights lacquer before their rebrand. I loved how fun they were with each of their releases and when they had this rebrand it looked more commercial to me and that took away from the unique part of their polish. Their bottles look too similar to NCLA Polish lol 😂 Either way this was a great video Kyle!
