Me too, 62 this year, always thought UFO wildly underrated, and they would appeal to a wider audience than say, Iron Maiden. I wore out several cassette tapes of Strangers in the night in my car player, it’s probably still my favourite record of all time ever.

They were on the verge of hitting it big time,the lights out and Stranger in the night albums put them on the map !! Phil and Michael had a fight,actually Moog punched Schenker and Schenker left the band !!

Holy shit! This is excellent! OK, it's a mimiced live performance to a studio recording as far as I can tell but even so... this has to be 96% as good as UFO's performance on "Strangers in the night" (which AFAIK was heavily overdubbed, too). I am deeply impressed. All available thumbs up! If these guys ever play close enough to my place here in Germany I'll definitely go and see them!

That solo was as spot on as one can get from Strangers in the Night version , considering how Michael Schenker has a free style of playing. Great cover and a huge fan of UFO and the Scorpions .

You guys are great and kick serious ass! I grew up loving UFO - LIGHTS OUT and UFO - OBESSION LP's. Loved singing them so much at age 12+ in like 1977+. They seemed to really train you for life, ROCK-n-ROLL for the next 45 years. Here we are, rocking the EUROPE - LIGHTS OUT version. You guys really need to focus on redoing LIGHTS OUT and OBESSION LP's. Because we know, those are the albums that influenced every KICK ASS METAL BAND on GOD's great planet!! FUCK YEAH!! Awesome playing. The lead breaks on "Lights Out" on this version are exceptional. And Your version of "Sails of Charon" is just as impressive. It takes serious chutzpah to pull that one off! I'd love to hear you folks do...oh I don't know...maybe "Hell-Cat", "Crying Days". I've no doubt if it can be done then You can do it.
