After watching this video last year, i made plans for this wild journey to Greenland and Koks, and I just came back home from Ilulissat and Ilimanaq. Without doubt, this meal was spectacular and one of the most outstanding and unique i’ve experienced. Delicious and coherent from start to finish, and in harmony with its special setting. I heard that there is no commercial whaling in greenland and there are quotas for the locals at one or couple of whales per settlement. The birds used in the menu were also shot by local hunters, and ice carved from icebergs by locals. I didnt know much abt Greenland before this video and came for this meal. I went away in awe with Koks and in love with the land. I would love to visit Greenland again, and to Koks when it reopens in the Faroe Islands. Thanks for the video and this wonderful experience.

What's it taste like compared to other candies? Is it sweet? Bitter? Caramelly like sugar or like a toffee? I think it was the fish or the bird you mainly just said it was tender, but i'd love to know how it compared to other meats. Other birds even, is it like quail? Duck? Chicken? Beautifully shot and edited video, but the descriptions of the food being just very on the nose was a little bit of a let down.
