The only flourishing Protestant Churches in the Netherlands are Ultra-Orthodox Conservative Calvinists. The Reformers in the more liberal PKN only achieve that the more conservative members leave for the Ultra's. They even got their own political party SGP. Thus Churches who want to be 19th century Calvinists attracks many younger families whilst the more compromising and reforming PKN is full of elderly ( nice) people. BTW I am Catholic, but with the Catholic Church the same happens. The 4 churches that offer Latin Mass ( one Tridentine) are full of also younger people. The other Churches with modern mass are rather empty nowadays. Reforming will not stop the decline at all in Europe.

Such a dumb comment. Everyone says they’re teaching from what the scripture says. But we have to discuss the disagreements, because we’re not all right. Like seriously, people like you are why the modern church also needs reforming
