🇫🇷 Ligue 1 Stadiums 2023/2024

Last season we had more excitement than usual in France. Despite the fact that PSG won Ligue 1 again, Lens was close - this team took 2nd place and was only a point short of the Parisians. Also noteworthy are the French stadiums, which often have a full house of spectators for each match. Here's an overview of Ligue 1 stadiums, which we've ranked according to the places their hosts occupied in the league at the end of the previous season, and we'll start with the venues of the newcomers.
Some of the arenas in Ligue 1 are remnants of construction or renovations made before EURO 2016. Others have been in existence longer, but still delight, if not because of the architecture, then because of the lively fans. So check out all the football venues where we'll see players like Mbappe, Neymar, Sanchez, Lacazette, and Donnarumma next season.

Major competitions and the understanding by club managers that a stadium could also bring in money have meant that the comfort, capacity and modernity of french stadiums have progressed considerably over the past 30 years. There is still work to be done, some stadiums are still baroque, but each club works on it.

A lot of French L1 teams stadium will be renovate or rebuilte in few years (Clermont, Brest, Montpellier, Strasbourg etc...). Hope it will help to have better affluence in next years.

The game got interupted because of a Bordeaux that pushed a Rodez player and the league decision will be given on monday. For now, we're still waiting to know if Rodez gonna win by forfeit or if the match will be played again. Therefore, Bordeaux will have to win by 5 goals at least

Wrong informations regarding the FC Metz stadium. Capacity is at least 30 000 and the name is " Stade Saint-Symhporien " not thing else before or after. Even if the consturction is not finished the capacity is already near to 30 000.

Moi Je comprends pourquoi, il est évident QU'AUJOURD'HUI les 18 clubs du petit championnat de france en EUROPE recrutent des joueurs issues de la COLONISATION française en afrique noire ou du magreb, POUR LA PLUPART (donc pas trop cher), pour les revendre ensuite dans les grands clubs en EUROPE (donc beaucoup plus cher). c'est donc pas pour faire une grande équipe dans l'avenir. Une grande équipe avec de grands joueurs dans un petit championnat NE PEUT PAS PROGRESSER EN EUROPE (P.S.G) ET C'EST POUR CELA QUE L'ON VOIT AUJOURD'HUI UNE EQUIPE DE FRANCE MAJORITAIREMENT DE GENS D'AFRIQUE NOIRE OU MAGREBINE. Extérieurement, mon préféré est l'Allianz Arena de Nice. En intérieur, celui de Lille est très impressionnant. Par contre je n'aime pas du tout le Vélodrome (en tout cas quand il est vide).

Quand on voit la ville de Toulouse qui rafistole son stadium depuis des années pour au final baisser sa capacité initiale, pour la 4eme ville de France et sa population aglo de plus de 1 millions d'abitants: 33 000 c'est petit. Des villes comme Lyon, nice, Lille, Marseille voir Bordeaux ont des grands stades neufs et modernes. .

Ligue 1 has a total revenue less than a third of the English Premier League. These small stadium are certainly not helping but I guess if the French people don't support domestic football much there is no point in building too many large stadium.
