This video tells the second episode of our early summer vacation from Liguria to Tuscany.
We stopped for the night with our camper in the parking lot of the Santa Margherita Ligure stadium, at a cost of 10 Euros every 24 hours.
In the morning, after realizing that the adjacent railway did not disturb our sleep too much, we left by bike, but we decided to take advantage of that train that periodically interrupted our quiet.
We then loaded our bikes into the special wagon with no little satisfaction, having discovered that in Liguria bicycles are transported for free on trains, thanks to an agreement signed between the Region and the State Railways.
In no time at all we found ourselves in the wonderful Nervi promenade and then from there we cycled to the incredible Boccadasse beach (a must see). It was a Tuesday in early June, there were people, but no crowds. A total pleasure!
And then we discovered that we were in the place that had inspired one of the songwriters we love most Gino Paoli, in the composition of the song "La gatta".
After a tasty snack in the shop of the very nice Marino il focacciaro, where the Genoese Focaccia is sold in every way stuffed, we move by bike to the village of Bogliasco, also of a poignant beauty with its small sandy beach, the ancient Roman bridge, the colored houses that frame and the clear and intense blue sea that invite you to immerse yourself as if there were sirens waiting for you.
The parish church is also amazing, it is an unexpected treasure chest of art.
