Good morning sir, I am writing this from India as a young student. This song ushered a surge of emotion in my heart, how beautiful and lovely your voice is. I instantly started weeping like a baby. My country is going through a time when religious riots, police brutality, communal hate and violence are rampant and the youth is being swayed by the fascist leaders, to hold up ultra conservative ideals. There is hate all around me, in films, in books everyday online and with my eyes I watch protesters being beaten by the police, being aressted and even killed. Borders are being drawn and war is taking place and I am powerless before it all. I have been feeling such profound sadness and fear for my country and your little song gave me a little solace that in this world there is still a warm corner where there are eyes who can see past all this and have the courage to spread love. Thank you so very much.

My parents were born in 1984. I was born 20 years later. I turn 20 this year. It’s all so scary., to feel that you are losing every bit of the life you’ve lived as you grow older.
