technically this is a new version of Essence of Reversal (Kiryu learns this thru a Revelation in 3, and Tanimura can learn this in 4 via IF7-R) but with a focus on immobilizing/disabling the enemy before landing the hit

Disappointed in Dragon God not having an actual proper impact of foot to head. The changing cameras also don't help the pace as cool as it is that they re-used the summoned dragon from 7. But otherwise it's still cool, though it feels like maybe that's all because this is gonna be re-used as an AOE in 8.

If it's the one I think it is, you have to max out the main upgrade for each of the gadgets. Then in either chapter 4 or 5(don't remember which one), you'll get the option to unlock it.

Maybe lost judgement has skewed the playebases expectations. But the amount of heat actions added to this game is about on par with most other entries in the series. I think the problem is the *lack* of recycled heat actions. Most extreme heat mode heat actions are gone. No back grabs. And no directional counter heat actions. I'd chalk this up to being the fault of its extremely short development time. Relative to most other titles.
