Better if its his ps2 moveset instead of the ass dragon engine moveset, ryuji is actually competent in the ps2 version

Its so odd that the weapon disappears in the final phase. Happened for me too when I was doing this with Higashi. Though I will admit it does make the final phase that more epic

I think your attacks still count as bladed attacks even after losing your weapons, you can even see bleed effects get applied onto the boss.

It might have something to do with using the mod to forcefully replay the boss battle. Might have to ask the mod creator to know why.

Having played as "Lil' Ryuji Goda," I can attest that the video creator is insanely good. LRG is such a dogwater character, and Kevin makes him almost look usable. Nobody should be able to play him, imo. The world would be much better off.
