Man, from seeing Kiryu all the way back in Yakuza 1, picking up that Yumi ring being the first thing we see of him , and now all these years later showing us he still had it, but now he's letting it go.

@@gazover_ In this universe, there are three distinct Joon Gi Han all sharing the same facial structure, thanks to surgical enhancements. So, yeah, it's not entirely implausible to think that morinaga altered his face.

Imagine if, at the end of Y8, Kiryu wakes up in a hospital bed surrounded by his friends and family, all who are overjoyed that he doesn't have cancer anymore. As Kiryu asked how that happened, the camera pans over to...Majima dressed up as a doctor.
