agreed honestly it's a shame that the brawler parts during that fight weren't more fleshed out, or in general with dragon's resurgence good stuff either way though

in canon kiryu probably would have gotten his ass kicked if he was alone. he already struggles with majima and daigo (he was out of breath and completely winded after fighting both) and can’t take down saejima

Not even, probably. Most definitely. The only way he wins this is cause of plot armor, but for the longest time, kiryu has been at the top in terms overall fighting. The cancer took a huge toll in this fight and it was really straining for him to fight (although he most definitely would still be winded either way, considering who he is fighting. Cancer just hastened it.) Individually, he pretty confidently beats Daigo. I feel, that's without a doubt. Kiryu beats him confidently in Y2 and y4. Majima is a bit harder to gauge since even though we've seen them fight. It's never really been a serious majima. He didn't care if he won or lost in the previous encounters, despite kiryu always winning. So I still think kiryu could definitely beat a serious majima on his own, it just would be hard to deal with his agility and speed. Kiryu and saejima are evenly matched. it's been shown multiple time's they are. Kiryu's all around nature in his stats are evenly matched with Saejima's raw strength. So having all 3. So he's evenly matched with 1 + 2 other's that he could beat. Yeah there's no way he's winning this. Even without cancer. It would be draining enough just to fight saejima who he is on par with. Fighting daigo and majima on top would drain him. Cancer or no cancer.

it probably would’ve done the thing where it looks like you beat the bosses but when the cutscene plays he got his ass kicked

Those three are basically Monsters just like him, Kiryu wouldn't stand a chance sadly.. especially with Saejima and Majima on the line..

Even without Cancer, i doubt he will win tho, there's Saejima and Majima who's is he always fight and ended on par as him and also Daigo, who could make Him *Pant* and kinda tired in Y4 especially...

@@KazunariNazunaI think after 6 it's hard to say especially during the display of gaidem when saejima and majima was struggling against shishido . They're few details that says kiryu was on top especially when ichiban could technically at least stand his stance against majima and saejima and couldn't touch kiryu in Yakuza 7 , idk why they did that but they did.

@@CRAZYWIZARD Saejima and Majima getting pushed back by Shishido doesn't mean they couldn't bash That Omi Lion's head on, Gaiden was Kiryu's game and Shishido is his Opponent so that's why, Saejima even said that Shishido was like Cornered animal, knowing he can't beat the Tojo Legends but he tried anyways by using Adrenaline and...he failed, while Ichiban's case, well can't blame them, since Majima and Saejima went hiding at that time and getting rusty, but as you can see they were ready to going all out, But Ichi and his group are completely out, Ichi saying they will going all out as well will only result in him and his party getting destroyed, since We already know how Dangerous Majima and Saejima are if they were serious, no drama Even until now Saejima and Majima already surpassed Kiryu at least for now, since Kiryu is basically still had cancer and going on Healthcare, but if Kiryu is healthy again, then Kiryu is going back to his position again and will be on par with them again, but for now? Saejima and Majima are Stronger 🔥
