@@trashmammal5420 If you didn't hear it, it was actually pretty good but there was a lot of autotune that randomly cut in (especially at the end). Dub version of the song was good and you could hear great singing but the autotune on it was trash.

@@jkeebla Yup. I was optimistic about Yong Yea, given he has a pretty solid track record as a voice actor, given his previous roles. But the more I see his performance as Kiryu, the more I feel like he was ultimately miscasted in the role. Which to me, that's not the fault of the voice actor, as that's the direction he's given. That falls more on whoever's in charge of casting these characters from Ryu Ga Gotoku or Sega.

No because decent English dubs do exist though, some old and recent animes have that. If it's good, it'll outweigh this so called immersion for an equally decent, yet different experience with the voices. For me at least. Personally though? I don't think Yong's voice is THAT bad, but it just doesn't suit Kiryu at all. Kuroda-san has set the bar VERY high to voice Kiryu, and Darryl Kurylo has done a great job in like a dragon with successfully managing to represent Kiryu's heavy baritone voice. Yong's voice is just too young for me. And I just can't imagine Kiryu at all with that voice.
