It's so cool that this karaoke game comes with a Samurai story.

They used to like performing and it was customary to have knowledge in some art form be it Tea Ceremony, musical instruments (biwa, shakuhachi, etc) or in this case know how to sing and dance in Noh Theatre. Bushi and Samurai were not just musclehead warriors they were also artists, poets, musicians, farmers, agriculturists, merchants, doctors and even engineers on the side.

Dude if youve never played like a dragon definitely do. I was hestitant due to the gameplay change and ichi being the new protagonist but the game is kick ass. The turn bases system works so damn well the story is really good and the characters are legit. And it retains all the fun world stuff mini games and some pretty fun side stories.

Do you prefer that style over the other games in the series? I have a copy on ps5, just waiting for a good time to play it.

Interesting looking game, it looks like they combined Yakuza with the old Way of the Samurai games from the PS2 era.

Are those Way of the Samurai games good? I was looking at them on ebay.

@@bushidoblues9302 1 was good, 2 and 3 were an improvement (multiple endings dependant on your choices as opposed to in 1 where all roads lead to the same ending.) I never got around to playing number 4.

I loved this game. Wild Dancer was very much my favorite style. I have a soft spot for dual weapon combat styles in game whether they are dual melee weapon, dual gun, or a gun and a melee weapon so as soon as I found out about the Wild Dancer style I knew it would be my standard. I hope they add a similar style to the modern setting games but I doubt we'll be that lucky though Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has a Revolver using job it lacks a melee weapon accompanying it. Its funny because Yauza 6, the last game in the series you played before Ishin, is one of the few games in the series I haven't played yet along with Gaiden and 0.

Bad ass game... I was curious if you've seen the movie "The Outsider" It's more Yakuza than Samurai... I haven't gotten a chance to see your video on the "godfather of Yakuza movies" so idk if you mention seeing on netflix in that video.

Not yet I haven't seen too many Yakuza films. I'll have to check it out!

Was a great game. But man the story mode was short. Without side activities, only 2 short missions per chapter. Uncharacteristic for a Yakuza game.

Yeah that made it feel more like a spinoff then a proper entry.
