The man who erased his name was an A tier for me till the ending bumped it up to SS. Its one of the only 2 games i have ever played that acctualy made me emotional. Good vid keeap it up.

No problem other than that one mention about Like A Dragon..I tried to avoid spoilers and just focused on what I liked about the games. May have to revisit this in a year once more games come out or when I finish 4,5, and 6.

I don't know what to comment but I want to boost you in the algorithm, so I'll post my list. SS - 5 S - 0 A - 2 / 4 / K2 B - 3 / K1 C - 1 I replayed 0 after 5, and the combat styles felt like a step down compared to 5's immense depth. 5 does have a really good story but it goes over a lot of people's heads. It is probably the deepest exploration of what dreams mean and how they affect people. The final boss makes a lot of sense and is a quite brilliant in retrospect, which also goes over people's heads. It's such a massive game with meaningful stories and the best side content in the series. I'd call it the ultimate Like a Dragon game. It's basically the finale of the Kiryu saga, while 6 feels more like an epilogue, as it is the most connected to the previous game than any other game in the series has been. 6 is a lot better if you play 5 before. Just like 1 and 0. However, I'm still in the middle of 6. I didn't really like Like a Dragon 3 at first, but over time, Mine became my favorite villain. He's basically Kiryu in slightly different circumstances.

You would put 3 in S+ tier? Wow. It took me a long time to get through 3 because so many parts were tedious.

@@teachergotgame2203 I would. I played the originals before 0 and Kiwami existed. Playing 3 after the PS2 games elevated it. Plus I love the story, the characters, the evolution of the engine, Okinawa, and even the combat before 60fps made it worse. You could say any Yakuza/LAD has tedious parts.

I respect your tier list. For me i enjoyed the remastered trilogy (y3,y4,y5) more than than like yk2 or y6. in y3 i don't think i had much of a problem with like the fighting or the slice of life because i can feel how kiryu is pretty much tired of all the action and wants to have a calm life and seeing that in game is pretty cool to me. And also for y5 in my opinion i really loved it. It's not for everyone and the story is pretty much all over the place but you'll definitely love the kiryu and shinada parts. You can feel how different kiryu is in that game. Some of the other parts may feel like a drag but they do have cool things aswell. I'll be honest when talking about Like A Dragon games there's really no bad ones for me. Good tier list though!

You are spot on. There really aren't any bad games in this series. But we are so invested in these characters. Good point about 3. Our guy Kiryu has been through so much that he deserved a breathier.
