I just watched the film and had a hard time with the first act. Seemed a little too self reflexive and chaotic. But Act 2 settled down and Act 3 delivered in spades. That’s rare for modern blockbusters which often start strong but peeter out by the climax. This film was the opposite and did a beautiful job of tying up things for not only this franchise but the Wolverine one too. Stellar job and the Madonna climax was incredible. I had to re watch it 5 times. I understand why this film grossed over 1 billion dollars. ❤

​@@soundtreks I'm inclined to agree. This movie was a crescondo. I've heard Ryan Reynolds doesn't want to make anymore Deadpool movies. I don't blame him. This trilogy is pretty good. If it lays to rest here, I'm satisfied. I felt the same about Hugh Jackman appearing as Wolverine in "Logan". It would've been an excellent last outing as the character, but so would this one. He brought his A-game in this movie. Even when he could've phoned it in, he didn't. It ended up paying respects to "Logan" after all. It also became an excellent swan song for 20th Century Fox in general.

Honestly, if this is the last movie we see them, that's okay. Strong ending with potential to do another. If anything, I feel this is only the last film due to issues between Ryan and Kevin Feige. As much money the movie is making, I have a feeling we will see them return. If not in another Deadpool movie, we'll see them in an Avengers movie.
