I rewatched the Matt Smith seasons a couple months ago. It's The Name of the Doctor episode. In this scene, he's with Clara and she mentions the Trenzalore message from her "conference call" with Strax, Jenny, Vastra, and River. The Doctor isn't crying about River's death in the scene. He's crying because he thinks he's gonna die soon since he has to go to Trenzalore and knows his grave is on that planet
