Just pure worship from these people! Takes me into the throne room! How refreshing and moving!

Alabado sea Dios! ❤

Hello... why is there something hanging on the wall? Christians don't tolerate graven images. You know that. Worship must be in Spirit and truth.

This is not really the forum for a debate like this. It only serves to highlight the tear in the Body of Christ and ultimately undermines efforts to spread the Gospel. But you should go read the description of Solomon's temple in the Old Testament. 1Kings 6

@@jeffreyportis9388 The Bible clearly says that we must keep ourselves from idols.

@@josegabon2165 I know very well what the bible says about idols. I also know that the basis for the issue you raise was debated by the early Church and resolved. The issue was revived by the Reformation and is evidence of the unfortunate divisions in the Body of Christ. That you raise it here suggests that it was only meant to provoke and is further evidence that the continued division is not of the Holy Spirit Who is a spirit of unity. As the Feast of Pentecost draws near, I pray that you will be filled with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Hi, Jose! This is a great question! Here is something that may help you understand: "In the Catholic Church the crucifix has been the traditional sign and statement of our faith in God’s love and mercy. It reminds us that Jesus never promised his followers an easy life (Matt. 16:24) but that if we join our sufferings to his, we too we ultimately triumph as he did." Here is a link to more information if you are interested in learning more about this Catholic tradition!! www.catholic.com/qa/why-do-churches-have-crucifixes-if-jesus-is-risen#:~:text=In%20the%20Catholic%20Church%20the,ultimately%20triumph%20as%20he%20did.

So you consider the cross of Jesus as idol? I believe in Jesus on the Cross a reminder for me of his suffering and death for our sins. I have a crucifix necklace and never considered it idolatry. There is much misinformation that Protestants spread about the Catholic Church, the church Jesus founded. The goal of Protestants is to destroy the Holy Church. Beware of false prophets.
