it’s his accent and his voice lol. he uses a little bit of auto tune but it’s a little harder to hear because of the hard Atlanta accent. still an amazing song, after a couple of listens I got all the lyrics and know most of the song. IMO he really deserves a Grammy, he’s been killing it this year

"If the majority of the African American population feels scared every time they see blue lights, that fuc*ing says something. It shouldn't-it should never be that way. Like if a cop pulls me over I'm afraid of getting a ticket, not afraid of losing my life." (Great reaction!!)

Dam u started speaking facts bro and so was lil baby I'm a black 21 year old man who lives in a small town called macon Geogia about an hour away from Atlanta and it's crazy how many of my kind is killed either by police or each other and I'm right in the heart of it cause it's so hard to get out the hood if you don't go to college and college just wasn't for me so I'm stuck working two jobs to even maintain a good living an at the same time fearing tht I might be hurt or even worst killed by the police cause he racist or scared of my kind because of wat his ancestors did to Us but dnt get me wrong I've learned to accept life for wat it is cause we all will leave this damaged earth one day and who knows wat lies ahead for humanity... with tht said everyone be the decision maker in your life and love with your heart and your mind !!!🔥🔥💪💯

EvL physicals that’s the bullshit tho u shouldn’t need to settle for not getting murder today. Or be scared of cops. I’m a white man from middle class suburbia whose parents are well off, so I don’t know the struggle of being black or poor and the hood life. But none of you asked to be there systemic racism and redlining has torn holes through the African American population as well as the war on drugs.

@@darrellgainer6966 it’s not about taking responsibility, when there are thousands of colored Americans going into prison on harsher sentences than their white counterparts for the exact same crime. Yes if you fuck up you fuck up. But the system is set against you if you’re born black
@darrellgainer69662 жыл бұрын
@@Blake-tj9kc nah I understand and Ik if I go to jail my sentence can be harsher that white ppl, but I just wanted to highlight that a lot of us don’t take responsibility for own choices too, but for sure the system has been against from the start. Most of the statistics are skewed anyways from 1920’s to present where we were incarcerated for nothing or minor thing which caused us to be outcast from the nation. While also having father’s being taken out of the homes to prison, which really messed up leaving us with no roll models.

@@darrellgainer6966 the odds are stacked against you I’m sorry if that’s a hard pill to swallow. I’m advocating for a leveling of the playing field. Not trying to defend trump but... i've heard many discussions on defunding the police. In some places they literally are dismantling full departments. The problem is that cops are undertrained. They get 4 hours MAX of combative training a year. A lot of that comes to funding. That's why I agree with more funding for the police so they can have better de-escalation and combative training. At the same time some departments might just be too corrupt and need complete restructuring. So maybe there is middle ground to have less overall amount of cops but the ones left will be highly trained and more effective officers. Also looking at what they spend money on besides training in departments. It's not as simple as "defund the police". It's gonna be a long process of finding the right answer but with Trump as our leader idk.... just think about how much more training goes to overseas military instead of our actual police men.

Check out how much the police are funded in Los Angeles versus the money the city puts towards education .... do more research you’re wrong when it comes to the police need more funding . If you said more training , that would’ve made sense.
@dollabeatz83854 жыл бұрын
@@809Mornelle yeah but all that funding probably goes to buying gears, guns etc and not to training these officers.
@Ed-sz3wq4 жыл бұрын
809 Mornelle the reason I said funding and NOT training is because I do jujitsu and the Gracie Family who started it has been trying for years to teach officers how to control suspects without hurting anyone. The big problem? The departments never have funding for training. The Gracie Family has sponsored entire academies and paid for the training of the department. Maybe police departments misuse funding internally and they simply don’t want to focus on training. I don’t know but I a lot of places complain they don’t have funding for training. Individual departments might be overfunded but training is underfunded and removing money from police towards education might not solve all the problems, it might just increase crime and even less people choose education because crime is easier especially if there is less law enforcement. But like I said you have to look at individual departments, cities, states.
