Join Wonderhub’s very own Community Experience Coordinator, Anneka Richer and her Lil’ chef Oliver, as they explore how to tell stories though food and recipes. The making and sharing of food has long since been regarded as a language of love and kindness, but food can also tell a story about who you are as an individual, your background and traditions.
In this session participants will learn how food can tell a story and Anneka will show how to make a recipe that is special to her family. Participants will come away learning how stories can be told through food and will be able to create their own special recipe book.
Anneka Richer is a self-taught baker/cook. From an early age she was captivated by the processes of cooking and baking. Encouraged by her parents, Anneka enjoyed learning how to bake cookies, waffles, special family recipes and perfecting the best spaghetti sauce and hamburger patties! When Anneka is not in the office as Wonderhub’s Community Experience Coordinator, she enjoys continuing to experiment in the kitchen, making new recipes, watching cooking shows and sharing her tasty treats.
Anneka’s faithful taste-testers are her husband Josh, her Lil’ Chef Oliver, her always hungry doggos Loki and Kona, and of course the Wonderhub staff!
