I think at one point new orleans had like 450 murders in the 90s. Its a little over half the size of detroit. I think they were saying caliope has like 3000 plus people and would have over 30 murders sometimes. That's worse than a lot of war zones. But yes detroit is undeniably one of the most murderous places there is point blank period
