Chicago-born artist Lil Durk has quickly become one of the biggest names in hip-hop. Despite dropping a hit album just over a year ago, Lil Durk is back with his most important album yet, ‘Almost Healed’
Lil Durk shows Nadeska around one of his favorite spaces, where he can act like a kid and get business done at the same time. 'Almost Healed' is an audio representation of the healing Lil Durk has undergone himself after years of trauma.
Durk shares that after being in therapy for some time now, he feels it's important to share the benefits and how it's impacted him positively. Now that he is in a healthier space, Durk has made it his mission to give back to his community through his nonprofit, Neighborhood Heroes.

It’s a blessing too be from The Land, Illinois and see someone make it out besides Kanye, Twista, etc. Not just that to grow up in the streets of Illinois Lake county and see basically everything Durk has seen and had a change to make it out. Moved to Florida in 2013 and ten years later Durk is still inspiring me to grow and be a better Men for my family, I’ve lost a lot just like him and I don’t have millions but I understand the pain of losing people in your family that’s so close too you and still having to make it everyday and get better, do better! lost both parents in Lake county Illinois 6 months apart Mom was 57 and dad died in Chicago 58💯💯💯 and I’ve had to figure out how to navigate life with going through that…. But me just making it out of Illinois has been a lot for me! I salute Durk he’s the best right now and came from the bottom 💯💯💯🤟
