Listen, before Kelly Park Compton Crips....in the late 70's, early 80's. It was called Kelly Park Hustlers. Eazy - E AND MC Ren were members of this group. They were not necessarily active, but they were apart of it. As it turned into the Kelly Park Compton Crips, both Ren and Eazy were doing other things and just occasionally hanging with their set. They grew up with the guys in the neighborhood and they both had relatives that were active. Sin-Loc (Eazy-E:s cousin) and one of MC Ren's brothers (who Eazy actually hung with before NWA.) Tweedy Bird Loc (Kelly Park Compton Crips) was one of Eazy-E 's closest homies, and may have been responsible for MC Ren's (put on) in the gang. Any nigga from Compton reading this between the ages of 45-60, tell me I'm lying about anything in this comment.

You could find Eazy (Casual or E what they called him in the hood) on a summer day in '86, shooting dice and drinking Old English 40's with like 20 KPCC's at Kelly Park mid-day. He was a hustler since a child. And, he could actually fight....a little bit. Nigga did backflips and everything.

On the real for real, Eazy is what Suge WANTED to be! I'm from OH and grew up in Queens, NYC so I don't claim to know in-depth about Cali gang politics. But I'm 48 and I've been around so I think I'm a good judge of character. What did Denzel say on "American Gangster?" "The loudest one in the room is the weakest one." You never heard of Eazy threatening someone or beating someone up, etc. And from the interviews, I've seen since his death in most of them he's joking around and low-key And when you have Chicano rappers like OG Kid Frost ready to ride for you and telling people how u looked out for them, that's RESPECT! You can tell E was trying to get out of that street shit because it leads to nothing but death and time behind bars u can't get back! He was a REAL man! And I don't think Suge was respected as much as he was feared. Suge reminded me of the Bumble after Yukon Cornelius pulled his teeth out, lol! And if there are some old heads like me then they know Marion probably watched The Five Heartbeats several time a day for months to get into character. Because who can't tell the difference between RED and SUGE, except Hawthorne James is a much better actor than Suge is! RIH, Eazy, real OG! Game hasn't been the same since u left us!
@310bound
@310bound 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. The thing is: most people are simple-minded and think Suge was a stepper cuz of his size and flashiness. Suge was never active and had no name in his set. You could tell by the way he glamorized the piru image with the theatrics and his homoerotic behavior that something was amiss. Eazy always remained true to himself, confined his street activities to a low profile and just ran business. Suge himself will tell you he copied his blueprint. Hell, Suge used to work under Eazy.

@@Hawkeyes319I am not from America at all, but I have heard such a fact. although I did not find confirmation for him. The story ended with the girl just behaving inappropriately and trying to shit on Eric all the time. the last straw was that she broke his most expensive and beloved car, which was brought to his city from a week ago. She was beyond repair, he went berserk and went to a showdown, shot her yard, but did not get in. nothing like this happened later. I do not know who to believe, as many people are trying to make money from scandals with celebrities. I remain neutral.

@@elijahstraight402 The other members of nwa were affiliated, Eazy was a crip. What I'm talking about is a pic of Eazy before he was famous wearing blue with other guys wearing blue representing their gang. It's not hard to find.

@@jnthemyst Correction: Only two members of NWA were gang affiliated. That be MC Ren and Eazy as depicted in in Straight Outta Compton. Dr. Dre and Yella never had any gang ties to speak of. Cube was cool with certain Crips- 111 Neighborhood Crips. The same set as WC being that him and Cube are from the same area in South Central. As for Eazy, his cousin Sin Loc(a known Crip) said in an interview that Eazy was initially down with Kelly Park Crips in Compton. However, he had ties with other sets as a hustler (Atlantic Drive, SSCC, SBCC, Nutty Block, N-Hood, Spook Town, etc.) Furthermore, wearing Blue doesn't indicate gang membership. You got Crips wearing red and some Bloods wearing Blue nowadays.

Eazy E states him self that he is a Crip, in the last verse of Luv 4 Dem Gangstaz. He also tells you that he is a 'Loc' on the song Still A Nigga. He was definitely a Crip. He wasnt on no set tripping, hardcore banging shxt. He was a street hustler from that neighborhood who was apart of that faction.

That's funny. He didn't answer the question. According to Yella from NWA Eazy wasn't in a gang. He just knew all of them from hustling on the streets. Like Ice T never officially join the crop gang neither. He admitted that on the Howard Stern Show

He said Eastside South. Out of the 4 KP and NH are E/S South Side is S/S CC and Atlantic is basically the brother to SSCC so they S/S ADCC. He’s just giving it up for the general area, you could argue it was for Ward Lanes and the Duccys too but it was Most likely the KP-AD-NH&SS movement (see another slob bites the dust on bangin on wax)
