Possibly, maybe this was supposed to be the original beat but perhaps Lil Herb asked him to remove the bass. There is another case in the song "Osoarrogant" by Lil Jay and Billionaire Black. If you listen to the song vs the actual instrumental, there are a few sounds missing and it also has a slightly different kick drum pattern.
