I really enjoy your videos but for some reason the last few haven't appeared in my feed until I saw your community post. Can I suggest you maybe try posting some shorts of upcoming/past covers? Shorts are getting far more exposure currently and it could help your actual cover videos get seen more and not get lost in the KZbin shuffle as it were.

Hey, thank you man 💙 re: Shorts, the way I shoot my videos doesn’t really lend itself to the vertical format of Shorts, and I’m honestly already right at the edge of burning out so the idea of either putting in more work doing reshoots, or compromising the framing of all my shots, for a format I find wholly unappealing is… well, wholly unappealing lmao. That’s not to say that isn’t a smart idea, it just doesn’t feel right for me artistically re: my videos not showing up for you, I think that’s because of Master of Puppets. My channel was on a solid upward trajectory until LoudWire, NME, Ultimate Guitar, WeAreThePit etc. wrote articles telling metalheads I made the worst Metallica cover ever. the KZbin algorithm now thinks the 70,000+ people who hate-watched MoP are “my core audience” and shows them my new videos first. and since they hate what I do, KZbin sees that as a sign I’m making bad content and buries my videos from the people who actually want to see them, like you (thank you so incredibly much for that by the way💙🙏🏻) all that is to say… I need to just grind through this until the algorithm corrects itself and realizes Metallica diehards who hate pop punk *are not my core audience* in the slightest again though, I can’t thank you enough for offering suggestions and sharing your thoughts in general. I’ll keep considering shorts / reels / tiktok in the future and if I ever do suck it up and incorporate them it’ll be because you kindly suggested it!

I always forget how known League is already until Rito drops a song and my entire subscription feed is filled with league covers. This is definetly the best cover so far, it definetly is more HYPE than the original imo (although i still like the original, but its just not hyping) This song idea may have worked better under Rope Culture, because its from this weird place of music that sounds very happy but has very sad/depressing lyrics (similar to bullet from hollywood undead) But you may want to give "My R" by kurage-p a listen (probably an english cover of it, since its a japanese song originally and i think this sort of stuff hits more if you can actually UNDERSTAND the lyrics, i can recommend the cover from Bao the Whale, because the music video of this gives imo a lot more context to the meaning of the song) And now that ive wrote this, i feel like i have talked about this song before.
