@@mojo_phee it's just the type of bullet and I haven't seen it mention what type of bullet it was. You can get 7.62x39 in soft points, ballistic tip, hollow points, frangibles and more. You can get any caliber in fmj. Full metal jackets actually do the least amount of damage then all I said above. They usually punch smaller caliber size holes and usually do as he said and penetrate out the opposite side taking its energy with it. Hollow points, soft points and those types exspand creating a larger wound and transferring energy and not having a exit wound which will require the bullet/fragments used to be surgically removed . So it was probably a full metal jacket and went fully threw or he wouldn't be here.
