I feel like as dancing reaches a wider audience, more people want it to become all happy sappy so that the intensity of the dance doesn't make them feel bad. This is the culture, and to weaken it by making it more accessible would tear away the passion people have for this dance. You can see it in this battle, when Lil Rock started harassing Born a lil bit, Lil Rock started crashing and Born got to Lil Rock's head through that heat.

Interesting battle, I've seen them both do better Born is always on point and lil rock has always been "cocky" but he still has some dope tricks or sets. Battling isn't about holding hands and playing kum-bi-ya but there is sort of line that you don't cross. No touching if so then you got no control if it happens by accident then it happens. Feel like roc lost just to a better attitude. Born repeated the same move but was always clean full of joy, roc just seemed angry. When born clowned him for saying don’t touch roc did nothing, Right there battle over, roc should have got really aggressive but instead he just pretended it didn’t happen and swallowed the disrespect and that’s when he started falling a lot.
