Remember, he isn't inauthentically branded as a "lil" so&so, like most other new rappers. He was given the name as a kid, as his dad was made music as "dark skies", so he was actually nicknamed "lil skies"....he's different. Honestly wish he didn't tour with Lil Pump, I appreciate his music too but the two are completely different types of rappers and it makes lil skies seem like "just another soundcloud rapper" which shouldn't have a stigma in itself but, unfortunately lack of deeper meaning, mumbling, and sloppy cuts really did give the new rap, "soundcloud rapper" genre a bad look.
