@TheGEOPOLITICIANGUY3 жыл бұрын
right? such an underrated line - i still think lyrically (especially on his mixtapes) in terms of metaphors and similes and lines that just go over peoples heads, he’s the best to ever do it and people call that crazy but meanwhile they either miss half of what he says or don’t listen to his real music and just his radio hits (which many did suck tbh, this was the only real radio HIT that was a lyrical nightmare like his other lesser known stuff - unless megaman was a hit on the radio? i forget… but that was another big song on a major album where he brought out his real heat on a mainstream song) - i remember when this very song came out after i graduated (idk , like 2010) and cornballs were actually targeting that very line to say how trash he is since he couldn’t think of anything else than lasagna - without even realizing the word lasagna is spelled with a “g”, smh - i don’t listen to this stuff now a days since turning to Islam since most of it is about filth - but every once in a while i get an itch to listen to his songs where he has these types of lines- he has certain songs where u can actually pause at EVERY LINE to see the lyrical loophole he threw in but then theres other songs of his that are the complete opposite and are just horrid - i never understood that - like how he made so many songs that were just absolutely *incredible* via lyrics and then have so much trash at the same time - theres no gray area with Weezy - it was either a complete banger with him or a song i would never listen to again
