@johnathanpotter9244 жыл бұрын
@@robclassified2280 Three songs that I think of immediately when people assert that Wayne has no substance: "I Miss My Dawgs" (off the first Carter), "Tie My Hands" (off of Carter III), and "Let It All Work Out" (off Carter V, actually while Carter V is the weakest of the series in my opinion, it is probably the most vulnerable Wayne has been over a project). If you don't want to listen to those full songs, you could just listen to Wayne's verse off of OutKast's "Hollywood Divorce" (my favorite verse from Wayne).

Johnathan Potter the fact that Wayne has made a million songs and you can name the three is the problem. Wayne has made tons and tons of songs. Although there were alot of people doing a reaction to that song, it wasn't your commentary. I honestly feel that you guys could have a impact on anything you reacted to, you've impacted people this long doing videos others have done so what made that particular track different? Its not the song people tune in for its what you feel about the song that makes the people tune in. I like what you're saying in the video at the beginning but I think most people just like the way you break stuff down. You do what nobody else does. Yes there are other Reaction channels, but they're all trash. Just nodding and not deciphering shit. I think that's why people wanted you to do the Chloraseptic Remix and other songs like that; to shed light on the song instead of reacting the way everybody else reacts. You guys are you unique either way though and I appreciate your decisions and thoroughly enjoy your videos.
@LostInVegas7 жыл бұрын
And we appreciate that! However, it's all about balance. Providing a platform for talented up and coming artists and exposing them to new fans is also very important and NEEDED. Hip Hop needs a revolution on a 'Mainstream' level (the underground is alive and well but those artists also need mainstream attention to make money to sustain their careers). Nurturing the RIGHT artists is what will push the genre forward and weed out the 'meatballs' lol! Many of our subs appreciate us for doing this as well. We'll still do 'trendy' songs but we wanted to provide people with the right expectations moving forward. Great feedback!!

Steven Michael exactly, the way they break down the songs lyrics is so good. All the other reaction channels almost never analyze the lyrics and just go around saying "it's fire" or "trash" we all want to know why is it fire or trash.

SHoomerT Wayne doesn’t write his stuff. Even drake said it. He said that Wayne takes about 45 mins to just listen to the beat then he gets up and spits 3 verses.

Yep ever since the song 30 000 bars he hasn't "written" he just runs a punch or a bar off another bar and just rolls with it which is amazing since most of his hits came after that...he's one of the goats

Props to you guys and your ethic, and your will to spotlight also lesser known talents. I'm not really a rap guy, but this was a lot of fun, and I loved your breakdown which definitely helped understand what was going on! On a sidenote, I've been recommending FEAR FACTORY since last summer now, and I'll keep at it because I'm pretty sure it will become one of your favorite, if not your favorite metal band (big claims, I know!)! Check out the track Self Bias Resistor off their seminal and genre-defining album Demanufacture. They are responsible for most of modern metal, while being very different from anything you've heard to this day. And they are still on top. Groove, breakdowns, intensity... you will love it or you money back! I really don't get why they aren't more recommended in the comments...
