For those confused: Song takes a few listens to understand it... Wayne’s part is more coherent and sticks to the storyline more clearly or obviously whereas with kendrick he is speaking from a different point of view with a less event-focussed perspective and it’s more emotion based (because it’s a reaction of someone in love with the Wayne’s promiscuous spy and he’s heartbroken). Kendrick’s flow is sonically amazing but I think lyrically Wayne has the better verse with more clever lines although it’s not as introspective which is always a K dot strongpoint. There seems a bit of a disconnect of tone between verses since Wayne’s part is basically him having fun with the story and delivering a less serious vibe whereas with kendrick suddenly you see the perspective of a person hurt by the actions of Wayne and his hoe/spy? (Lol) and the tone changes to reveal the evils and hurt as kendrick is so talented at doing. I can’t determine If this was accidental and it’s because the artists weren’t on the same page OR if it was done on purpose to portray the blissful blindness that comes with people’s own sins (I.e. Wayne and the female can’t perceive or care about the evils they act upon). If so I can’t decide if this was genius or if it weakens the continuity of the piece and makes it seem fragmented. Overall it’s a good interesting song and fun to listen to. Wayne and kendrick did good jobs it’s a great sound. And geez the flows fire 🔥

Man how can you not like this... I give these 2 Front Men that they both brought serious delivery and skill on this track here. I thought they killed it with making the listener feel the emotion they were going through as the song plays out, Big Up's too the Producer, the beat was nasty as they come...I would like to believe that, Wayne and Kendrick both have songwriting credits to this, it was produced the same way I thought "Stan" was by Mr. Slim Shady only a few decades plus previously, definitely a great track

Bro I honestly think Kendricks verse is massively underrated, going over a lot of people‘s heads. Like he said: in a minute he gon admitting that he loves and the 1 minute later at 4:40 he admits that he loves her. „I‘m a pit laughing“ as in pitbull and the whole dogg scheme and also as in grand pitt from the Great gatsby who drove a yellow car, same with the yellow taxi mentioned in the song like goddamn
