This a fact when I say absolutely no hiphop artist will ever be as good as Wayne was in his prime. We will never see this again and i’m so honored to have seen it from the beginning. His music created memories for my teen years.

@@x-rayofficial4894 lls maybe idk I can't say I'm the biggest Thug fan but I credit him and Wayne for experimenting. One of the things that bothers me with rap/hip hop (although this last decade is shifted a bit) is how boxed in you have to be. Like you would be considered a sellout for trying other genres or sounds and that's just something you don't see with other artists. Some examples that come to mind are Taylor Swift switching from Country to more of Pop sound or The Roots (I'm sure I got better examples for some reason I can't think of em lls hopefully you get my point)
@x-rayofficial48943 жыл бұрын
@@Lawgang94 i get you, and yeah it seems that in rap especially many weren't really excited about rap going in different directions or having it merge with other genres. Sad because many different genres of music were formed through experimenting and other genres combining. If rap would have stayed with that old school flow and style it would have not gotten this popular. In fact even 90s rap has a lot of variations in rap styles its just that people like thug and wayne took it to the next level and didn't fear ridicule and criticism.

No one will ever come close to his prime. Nor his achievements. NO ONE. Idc who you name they will never hit his level. He is literally not from this planet. He was born to rap I believe. I can’t see him doing anything else. Sure you got a lot of mainstream rappers nowadays going viral but that’s because of the internet and most “rap” fans only know rap because of Pump, NBAYB, Gunna, Thug, Wiz, and who knows who else.
