People forget football at the QB potion is more mental then physical. The conversation came up the other day , his Mahomes becoming that QB, that other QB see across that field and get intimidated by. Now before everyone freaks out .. I mean in the game. Everyone knows you can’t count that guy out, everyone knows with him on that other side at any given moment he can come back . Defenses have to base their whole scheme on how to stop him. What I saw was Lamar got in his own head and wasn’t making good decisions, that Chiefs defense, that I think a lot of people underestimated, had him rattled in his decision making and knowing that 15 was watching , waiting on the other side , messed with his head , he made bad decisions, and choked the game. The difference between good QB and Great or even greatness .. is how they keep their calm pose, and confidence. Mahomes and that team has so much experience where they are right now , they are setting the standard, that is why I’m going with the chiefs . Because this Super Bowl is gonna come down to the QB making the right decision at the right moment that will take the game . And Patrick Mahomes his that guy . He will Lead His Team .. see I don’t See Purdy as the leader of that team. I see him executing. The plays giving to him , I see his veteran team mates constantly building Him up on the side lines . Purdy is not that leader yet . Mahomes his and he know how to lead his team to victory.
