I think the problem with the music industry today is the artists that go viral are almost always teenagers or young adults & 5 years later they mature & become a totally different person then the industry says they “fell off” because they’re not using childish antics to get views 🤣 Also teenagers are NOT good at managing money not even $100 The music industry wants a public figure they can advertise, they don’t care about making top notch quality music because boring uninteresting music does the best numbers mainstream so that’s why it’s rare to have a mainstream artist with an underground style
