As an actor/rapper. I think the actor/screenwriter example isn’t the same. There is an implicit expectation with the actor/writer relationship and not so much with the rapper. It’s expected that an artist writes their raps… for rn.

@@OneMoreTimeCast idk but I would guess that was how you proved yourself when rap was first invented. It’s probably different from acting cus those stories were about “imaginary” people until someone got the idea to bring those stories to life.
