krank runs the SWAC. lol. they the best. they are always consinntently clean. they sound better than most PWC drumlines.

@Diachi26 thanks man i appreciate the love. and yea bro you sound just like me my freshman year. didn't know much, tryna learn stuff via youtube vids. ut key is working hard and being consistent. thats all.

I didn't think that it was boring. It was clean. SUPER clean. Not too many drumlines keep up that level precision throughout an entire show. I don't think that I heard many (if any) instances in which the line lost roll quality, no matter how long they kept it up.....I saw intricate interplay between players, it was musically demanding.....I LOVED it. This is a top tier line who plays extremely well. I think the only major area of improvement is from a visual standpoint with attention to detail.

@icare4thesnare I've seen yo vids dude and you cold bro. I'm goin to UAPB when I graduate but i'm still a freshman, goin to the 10th though which makes me a sophmore anyway. I practically didn't know anything about snare drummin goin to the 9th and I practiced everyday everywhere I went looked at everything in about a month I learned all of my rudiments and started practicing hybrids. I'm still trying to get on yo level though but still practicin you got skills. God bless man.

Did you ever make it?
@TheDragonmaster1813 жыл бұрын
@TynerSnareCapt really? cause that i would like to see. but some drumlines in the south have soio cadences where the tenors and basses keep the groove while each peron on snare does an eight bar solo.

man ima tell yall like dis, I aint played a snare drum since 01 when i was a senior n high school, (Jones BBT captain) to whom it may concern. Anyway Im still a band head, and I aint seen nobody steppn to Funk Train. I think they only competition is da Box, and even they need to step they game up-they got younger with no discipline (my opinion). Personally, this vid was boring, da snares was clean tho but I hate when drumlines keep repeatn wat they play,dats so 89 to me. I wanna c betta n '10

@Lil2Kold04 you must have some pretty good connections to alot of hbcu bands

....but that can easily be fixed. I've seen lines that look bad and sound GREAT. I've seen lines that look GREAT and sound BAD. These guys don't look bad at all....just a little bit more presence would be nice....and intensity. But again. First thing's first....they're clean and talented. That makes them a top tier line in my book.

@icare4thesnare: that wouldn't by any chance be excerpts from Jeff Queen's Tribute would it? Great job, if so. That's what I like to see especially in stands battles. Play some professional licks...then the other section won't know WHAT to do. lol

For you Muh Fukas who say playing clean and with precision chops is boring then heres a challenge. I would want to see any of you talk'n ish to bring your a-game and go against krank thats if you got the balls to do so. Put your precision section up against knank in front of you band director and see which sound he would rather have.
