ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

I love her! I love her commitment to sensational older folk music. Listening to her own music I hear it influences her style, yet she is definitely her own artist. I’m guessing contestants don’t have the choice to sing their originals. And I’m guessing this song was her choice given her love for The Beatles. I have no complaints whatsoever after reading the other comments here. She is in her own lane. This is precisely the kind of choice I would have expected from her. A lot of musicality and sensitive lyrics. She has a softer sound and embraces that as she should. I voted for her to win. Regardless of what happens I expect to hear more from her in the future. She reminds me a bit of Joni Mitchell, Nora Jones and Aoife O’Donovan. All three highly successful. You rock Lila!

If I could give a vote to all of the artists this evening, I would. They were all on top of their game; they were phenomenal. This vocal performance was ethereal and rather dreamy. It was literally perfect. Lila is true to who she is as an artist. Her intricate styles, tones and delivery, along with her storytelling makes her special and exceptional. I will buy her album. She doesn’t have the big vocal that blows the roof off, but what she has is style, and vocals that make you feel the story she is singing. Her music transcends. The artists in the finale were fierce competitors, and even though, I voted for her, I won’t be surprised if any of the other artists wins. It was a great season, indeed. Hoping Lila wins!

I'm buying her album. She gave the two performances that affected me the most deeply; River and Across the Universe. I voted for Lila out of a close three-way tie, partially because I think of her as more introverted and at the final portion of the show, I think it's important that introverts don't get dismissed as not having as strong a stage presence, when, in fact, they might be the one whose album you'd buy. Introverts are some of the greatest musicians in the world. It would be a shame if it were beyond the capacity of The Voice and its viewers to acknowledge that.

Om." Lennon's use of this mantra reflects his exploration of Eastern philosophy and his search for spiritual meaning.

I love Lila Forde’s unique voice and quirky style. In looking forward to her last Voice performances, I was hoping for another Joni Mitchell tune, ‘Carey’ or ‘California’ come to mind or even the pop hit ‘Help Me’. I even envisioned her singing Paul McCartney’s ‘Maybe I’m Amazed’ adding her twists and tweaks vocally. The two finale song choices were executed beautifully and ethereally, but I’m not sure they resonated with the Voice audience with the same emotion as her previous interpretations of ‘Angel from Montgomery’ or ‘The River’. Nevertheless, Lila is the most authentic and organically genuine artist on the show this year and I will follow her career path closely beyond the Voice and regardless of where she finishes in the top five.

Have been rooting for Lila all season but Ruby shone tonight too & she could take it. Both young women have been great since the blinds & I would be glad for either but in my opinion & personal tastes, I would give Lila the edge. Overall though a very competitive season!

this was absolutely magical. in my opinion the best performance of the evening, she was pitch perfect and those first notes were straight from an angel's mouth. i really hope she wins this whole season. i think she has a quiet, ethereal beauty to her that takes a certain level of attentiveness to appreciate.
