These types of paintings are SO fun! They are quick & almost have instant gratification! I find when working on more difficult, larger paintings that take a while, it's a GREAT break to do these types of paintings, then you can go back to the larger, more complex paintings, take them a section at a time, and get back into them refreshed, and with a new set of eyes too! :) TY Cinnamon! These are REALLY fun for ALL ages! A GREAT pic to do with the grandkids!!!

Just absolutely fabulous I mean really. Nothing says spring like lilacs and nothing says summer like a butterfly bush!! I love your joy and enthusiasm. I also like that you know when to STOP PAINTING. Some great artists just don’t know when to STOP adding stuff to their paintings. They just junk it up with color that doesn’t belong, buildings that aren’t needed, I’m just yelling STOP STOP STOP. THIS PAINTING WAS FINISHED 15 minutes ago. Just because you still have paint on your brush and palette doesn’t mean you need to keep painting. STOP! But Cinnamon you are so GREAT at simplicity and encouragement and joy- you rare a PLEASURE to watch & learn from. You really teach me something new every single show. So excited for AA to start. Maryse Monto Hi Maryse! There are acrylic enamel paints (+ mediums) that you can bake onto glass & some say they are even dishwasher safe! They do color shift a bit (some more than others... as with colored glass fusion, it seems yellows & reds shift more than blues, but you can test them on soda bottles if you want to see hoe they turn out! :) ) That would be a fun project!
