1:16:50 For those curious about what's happening here, breaking Laxasia's weapon, which is the most durable weapon in the game requiring 50 parries without Decay, instantly puts her into Phase 2. However because this is a randomiser, the game did the animation of the weapon break before continuing as normal since there was no second phase to go into. I'm glad this happened because I was curious to see if it would just killed her out right. I guess there must be a fail safe to prevent the game breaking or something.

I feel like we've reached the point, where you can just just say "it's my favorite souls like", without the caveat. I've got no problem saying Nioh 2 is by far my favorite souls like, Fromsoft included. Personally, I don't consider it a souls like, or think it should be called one, but many do. Anyways, point is, with the innovation from some of devs making souls likes, I think the best of them are better to play than Fromsoft games, which have basically just iterated (with exceptions). It's not wrong to like the other devs' games more

@ The lore of ergo is it’s energy comprised of human souls and/or essence. So this is why all the puppets so easily gained sentience and broke their programming. This is also why gradually throughout the game your character becomes more and more human due to using ergo to level up. Analyze the lore further and we find that same ergo is as refined as it is due to cycling through repeatedly. Cycling through what? The timeline. This makes a loop canon and if you choose to kill the blue fairy out of mercy you break the cycle by ending the loop of ergo. How this factors into the DLC and sequel idk… but then again we don’t even know if the sequel will feature the same protagonist. 💀
