FYI a stigmatized property refers to a property, usually a building, that has been cursed due to strong negative feelings associated with it--usually related to a tragedy or death. It's more a curse than a haunting, where the place itself becomes 'evil' and taints anyone who spends time there. The house in The Grudge is a stigmatized property, which is why the curse follows it's victims rather than an American haunted house where you're safe once you leave. Bascially she's asking if her place is haunted.
