Really don't like German movies that were so clearly made towards and during WWII as a child of Parents that survived the barbaric German occupation and cruel oppression 😔of Europe. The ones made after the War towards 1971 are really showing "their age" when it comes to accuracy of the costumes and wigs 😒

Yeah, I can completely understand ☹ Some, like the movie about Frederick the Great, is clearly a product for nationalism. Others, like Tanz mit dem Kaiser, has nothing to do with any obvious political agenda and was only made for entertainment. It is curious to see how Maria Theresa as an Austrian woman in power in portrayed in these productions.
