Welcome to Liliac (Romanian for “bat”)! Parents are from Romania, met in the U.S. and here we are. This is a family band, all siblings and fully independent. Names and current ages: Sam, 22, lead guitar Abigail, 21, drums Melody, 19, lead singer (used to play bass guitar) Ethan, 15, bass guitar (used to play rhythm guitar) Justin, 14, keys These kids/family are “fangtastic”. Melody, currently going by Melodia, has the most unique and awesome voice. Sam is incredible on the guitar. And Abigail is the driving force behind the band. The youngest are just beginning to find there place but highly talented for sure. Everything they do is great, no misses in their music library. Every cover is impeccably done staying true to the originals but with just enough Liliac flair to make it their own. Their originals equally as good if not better. They have such a luxurious sound that sets them apart. For an intro to their originals I recommend “Mars” live in Cumming GA. They are a family of 5 siblings: "Sam" lead guitarist is 22, "Abigail" drummer is 21 "Melody"(Melodia) lead singer is 19, "Ethan" their now bass player handed down by Melody is 15, the Keyboard/Piano player "Justin" is 14. They do a ton of phenomenal covers everything from "Somebody To Love" by Jefferson Airplane" to Dio, Metallica, Megadeath, Janis Joplin, Ozzy....They also have phenomenal originals a 6 song EP "Chain Of Thorns" and a 13 song LP "Queen Of Hearts". They are an independent band and are touring. May I reccommend "Dancing In The Dark", "We Are The Children" and " Mars" live from Cummings GA 2019 all originals. EVERYTIME a Reactor hears Liliac and of course Melody for the first time, their reaction is just like yours and I get goosies all over and it makes me so happy. Thx for your wonderful reaction. BTW, the 2 youngest have grown immensely since this video and I am such an Ethan, guitar/bass, fan. He is growing into his own and even though he can play a mean guitar, his fast expertise on the 5 string bass is amazing. Justin, the keys, will be also coming into his own with learning the guitar as well as knowing keys. smh At my age, old, I am not impressed by much, but 2 yrs ago I heard these kids do this song on FB and I have been a Fang ever since. I get geeked out by their talent and yet their humbleness. They are great kids with great parents and in 5 years they will be worldwide imho! Keep giving us more Liliac. Melody Cristea's (Lead Vocals) vocal range is quite extensive and not just for her tender age of 19 currently, 16 for this one I believe. She can do high, low, opera, gritty/raspy. The thing that's amazing about her is she can cover any Rock vocalist's song and make it sound as good or better than the original while not trying to be a knock off of them, while also doing her own originals which are also awesome. She has covered Joan Jett, Janis Joplin, Ozzy Osbourne, Bruce Dickinson, James Hetfield, Dave Mustaine, Gene Simmons, Grace Slick, Pat Benetar, Stevie Nicks, Freddy Mercury, and Ronnie James Dio, and they all sound fantastic.

Samuel Cristea of Liliac is one of the greatest guitarists I've ever heard in my 25 years of listening to Rock music. Not yet on Eddie Van Halen, Zakk Wylde, Randy Rhoads, Jemi Hendrix, Paul Gilbert, Vivian Campbell, Kirk Hammet, or Brian May levels. He's close though, probably a tier below them, but one day he will be up there with them.
