The video was not expensive. All self produced and filmed. Sam is the video editor. This is another thing that sets Liliac apart and above. They are fully independent. The talent and creation is all theirs. Video production? Theirs. Set design and construction? Them. Wardrobe? Them. Touring? Them with some help from fans. Marketing? Them. Recording, mixing, producing? Papa Liliac and Them. They would not be able to do it this way if under the control of a record label. And their creations are wonderful! Love this band (and family) so much! ❤️

Papa Liliac said that this video cost $6,000.00 to produce. Wonderful reaction. KZbinrs make around 3-5 dollars for every 1,000 views, so to break even their video needs to get between 1.2 million-2 million views.

Actually all their videos are done by themselves for very little money one interview i saw they said they made this one for $5,000 dollars with the help of family and freinds . Usually they make their tribute covers in their basement and save the spectacular videos for their original songs the best of which in my opinion is their DEAR FATHER video which is movie quality , but SAILAWAY is also great and the drone shots are amazing . Sam besides playing guitar edits all their videos and if he ever quits playing could make it in the movie business , check out their other great videos for their originals DEAR FATHER, NOTHING, CRAZY NIGHTS, WE ARE THE CHILDREN, MYSTERY, DANCING IN THE DARK, and CHAIN OF THORNS all are terrific and all made by them for practically no money.
