My hats off to LILIAC!!! Been following for a few years now! I've researched every video recording of the going back to when they were just little kids! then having got caught up on all found on the internet I followed the progression from about 2 and a half years ago, WOW!!!! THE ROCKETING EFFECT IS REALL COOL TO SEE!! in amazed at the Quality of thier studio productions! Papa LILIAC dose a great job! and now look at all the tour dates! these are some hard working and driven people!!!! I hope they don't burn themselves out!!! especially having to do most of the heavy work at each and every venue they play! I hope one day the achieve the stardom they seek! Also it's great they've never signed with the big record labels! they seem to be more of an indentured servitude type of existence ! then after a few years you get a tiny piece of the royalties, and forfit the rights to your music!

Liliac is a family band. Their fans are called Fangs, Samuel - Guitar is 23 Abigail - Drums is 22 Melody - Vocals is 20 Ethan - Bass is 15 Justin - Keys is 14 Their parents Papa and Mama Liliac are Romanian and Liliac is Romanian for Bat. They call their music Vamp Metal. They have two albums and recording a third plus three covers albums.

Absolutely loved your reaction Tauri! So I will give you a quick run down: They have a 6 song EP out "Chain Of Thorns" and a 13 song LP out "Queen Of Hearts" all Original songs on both. From the "Chain Of Thorns EP may I recommend the Title track "Chain Of Thorns" "Dancing in The Dark " "Not Afraid" All the songs are fantastic on the EP "Sail Away" "We Are The Children " and "Mystery" or "Dear Father"are great ones from the "Queen Of Hearts LP even the title track. Not necessarily the best intro to them their sound has changed a lot recently. That having been said total fang. They've been at this for like 9 years. Excellent musicians and yeah Melody has a unique voice, like Pat Benatar crossed with Joan Jett. Their Dio covers are special and most of their original material is quite good. Also worth noting completely independent, unsigned and DIY. They do their own recording, production and video shoots. Oh yeah and they're touring beasts. Great reaction!
